European Union not want to be careless response to AS Wiretapping Issue

Daily Mirror Online - Ambassador of the European Union ( EU ) to Indonesia , Olof Skoog , said the EU has not taken a decision regarding a trade agreement with the United States ( U.S. ) after the issue of wiretapping sticking to the public .
Previous high-level officials in several European countries vowed to suspend trade agreement with the United States after they know some European leaders also tapped the U.S. National Security Agency ( NSA ) .

One of the leaders of the European countries that was widely rumored that intercepted German Chancellor , Angela Merkel .

Skoog said the decision has not been taken on the matter , because the team is now the European Union delegation trying to find a solution of the wiretapping issue .

" Currently there are a few delegates from the EU who was in the U.S. to resolve this issue . They come from Parliament , the Council of the Commission , and each state officials , " Skoog said in his office , Jakarta , Thursday, October 31, 2013 .

European Union , further Skoog , do not want to act too hasty in deciding the matter of trade policy with the United States . Because it's all helped impact on the European economy .

He also called for the information about the intercepts only come from one source only , namely documents leaked by former NSA contractor , Edward J. Snowden .

" What the EU is trying to do that is to show the facts with an intensive dialogue with the U.S. on the issue . We are trying to find out the background of this issue , " said Skoog .

According to the ABC News website , Wednesday, October 30, 2013 issue of the NSA wiretapping performed against leaders of several European countries incurring the wrath of officials . They threatened to suspend trade agreements signed by the EU billions of U.S. dollars .

The agreement referred to by the U.S. side called " Safe Harbour " . In the deal , the company from the land of Uncle Sam can obtain personal data such as sales and commercial , electronic mail , photographs of customers in Europe .

This vital agreement is being awaited by more than 4,200 American companies to facilitate their business in Continental Europe . Without these data , the U.S. company will have a long and difficult procedure to store their customer data in the data center on the European continent .

Besides tapping issue also threatens one of the biggest deals Trans Atlantic goals of President Barack Obama's free trade between regions .
